Participating organizations determine how School Text Tips is implemented, monitored, and administered within their organizations.
School Text Tips facilitates the transmission of information but does not guarantee that every tip will prevent an incident, result in disciplinary or law-enforcement action, or produce any particular outcome.
Users should submit information in good faith and should not intentionally submit false, misleading, threatening, defamatory, or unlawful information.
Anonymous Reporting
School Text Tips is designed to prevent authorized recipients from routinely seeing the telephone number of a person submitting a tip. Instead, the system assigns an anonymous Person identifier.
Anonymity is not absolute. Identifying information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to address an imminent threat to life or safety, comply with applicable law or legal process, investigate misuse of the service, or protect the rights and safety of School Text Tips, participating organizations, or others.
Acceptable Use
Users may not use the website or School Text Tips service to:
